Our designs are a tribute to the pure, the purity of the material and the durability of the form. Out of conviction we are committed to acting sustainably and feel obligated to the principle of making products that can be repaired as this is the only way to ensure their longevity over generations. Repair and maintenance deepen the relationship between the person and the product.
We have followed the principle of combining ideas, design and ecology since we were founded in 1990.
We process only hardwoods from sustainable forestry and forego chemical treatment of the wood. The surfaces are treated with organic oils and left porous, allowing our furniture to breathe and retaining their natural character.
We draw from the wealth of experience gained over centuries in the typical regional woodworking in southern Germany and the Alpine region.
This knowledge, combined with state-of-the-art processing technologies enables us to produce sensual furniture with a high level of practical value.
Our love of the material and our requirement to make every piece a masterpiece are what makes up the value of our collection. “Made in Germany” is a seal of quality that we live by.
Our design language is intentionally pure and unostentatious because solid wood is full of character alone due to its organic structure. Each growth ring depicts part of the life history of entire forests.
Nature’s soul lives on in the timeless design of our furniture.
In cooperation with international designers, we develop concepts that reach people all over the world who share our attitude. The design follows contemporary needs and resource-saving use. Over the course of time each piece of our furniture remains a favourite piece.
