A table carved by a hatchet.A perch in a trunk, three parts in one, a table that is mono at his surface and triune at his foot and seems designed by sun and wind. Africa is born thanks to the magic of a hatchet which by carving and engraving transforms wood into a loosen bind, where eyelets are already hinges. An object designed and lived for frugal and precarious rituals: to support a plateau, to arrange furnishings; when you stop, when you move. We discovered it; we studied its essential shape. Then, we preserved its soul and we widened its functions for a more occidental, less precarious and more stable scope: a real table where you can sit and participate to an event created by imagination.
