• Well Proven Stool is made of bio resin foam wood and waste

Realizing that there is 50% to 80% of wood waste in normal production, Marjan van Aubel and James Shaw incorporated the waste shavings into designer chairs and stools using bio-resin. A curious chemical reaction occurs when it is mixed with the shavings, expanding it into foam. The porridge-like mixture of resin and shavings is applied by hand to the underside of the stool shell, forming a strong and lightweight material. The exuberantly shaped seat is anchored by the simple turned legs in ash wood. The Well Proven stool series is specially designed for Transnatural Label.
