Mr Teddy was created from a drawing of a stuffed teddy bear that I bought in a charity shop some years ago because it reminded me of my mother and her teddy figurine collection. The teddy sits in my studio and makes me feel close to my mother and family who are all back in Germany. Mr Teddy was one of five designs to be printed on cushions in June 2018 as part of the Wraptious Cushion Competition. It was the most sold cushion out of my five designs with the first one being snapped up just half an hour after my designs were uploaded to the website. Very fittingly, my mother got one, too.
This piece is painted on durable paper. It can be bought unframed or be framed by me in a special format I designed for my paper paintings.
